"Mmm, never had a pet until I got the boys actually. I always liked animals but they didn't like me, at least not after I was embraced. Medwyn's taught me a bit though, which helps" a lot actually.

She smiled.

"I can help ye better, if ye wish."

"Thanks, that would be good. I'm not very good at training them yet, but I know to bribe them" Teddy nodded.

She chuckled.

"Ferrets are untrainable."

"I think they understand actually. But chose not to give a fuck" actually, she was pretty damn sure about that.

She laughed.

"That sounds about right."

"But I think they're happy" even if they didn't always listen to her.

She nodded.

"They are."

She nodded again.
"Though they miss Medwyn. They keep stealing his shirts whenever they can" then again, so did she.

She chuckled.

"That is what they do."

"I kinda do the same when i sleep alone" she admitted with a small smile.

She chuckled.

"Aye. I still ha' some o' Jeromy's things."

"Has it been long? Since..." well, since she lost him.

She shook her head.

"Merely two years."

She leaned sideways, enough to rest her head on the Elder's shoulder.
"I'm sorry.." she said softly. "I can't even imagine..." how that would feel. Because if she lost Medwyn, the blond wasn't sure she'd be able to go on.

She nodded.

"Tis hard. But he would want me t' go on."

Teddy nodded.
"You're stronger than me" she smiled softly.

She pulled the girl to her.

"Ye will nay ken how strong ye be til it happens t' ye."

"Then I don't wanna find out..." she rather not know if she was weak or strong if she never had to deal with the situation.

She hugged the girl.

"I hope so as well."

Teddy just leaned into her, closing her eyes for a few moments. she didn't really know what else to say. But, just having someone else there for a while helped.

She let the silence reign, not needing to talk. But she seemed to know that she needed to be there.

"I try not to be too much trouble, you know?" she said softly after a while, though not moving from where she was. "I've gotten stronger... Medwyn's taught me. I've gotten better at fighting, better at staying away from trouble to begin with.."

She nodded.

"Aye. An' ye can get better. I'll d' all I can, love."

"Thank you..." it was a low whisper but none the less a heartfelt answer. "If I can do anything, you'll let me know, right?"
