Sometimes... (open) - The White Tower

He grinned.

"Hurry up an get out of protective custody. I could use some TLC here"

"Aww. Alright, I'll see you in an hour if all goes well."

"Best of luck with the jailbreak then. I'll see you around"

Heh... he wondered if she'd be able to pull it off.

Another text came about an hour later. "Hope you didn't doubt me."

And the elevator started on it's way up.

Well, waddaya know... Good thing he'd left the receptionist with instructions to let her up if she actually showed up.

The youth pushed himself up off the sofa, still clad in the atypical baggy trousers and hoodie as he moved to the kitchen, putting the glass away before turning to go and greet his visitor.

Cass stepped off the elevator and inside, letting her eyes scan for Charlie. When she saw Charlie coming toward her, she clicked her tongue and shook her head.

"You. Sit. Now. You look like hell," she moved toward him, motioning for him to turn and go get comfortable.

"You want a little TLC? You got it. Tell me what you need. You got me until for the rest of the night."

Her expression was soft, caring even and her tone was gentle.

He didn't turn right away unless she actually physically turned him around.
"So sweet and yet so demanding" Charlie said with a soft chuckle, meeting her eyes with a smile as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "Don't I even get a kiss before you start ordering me around?" the youth teased.

Cass leaned up and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek and then gently, very gently, she took Charlie by the arm and turned him toward the couch and carefully pushed him along.

"You'll get a better one once your ass hits the couch," she chuckled. "Get comfortable, as much as you can."

She padded off to the kitchen, taking a small bag from her satchel that she placed on the kitchen. In the bag were a few small bottles and soon the scent of lavender, chamomile and majoram wafted into the air. She took a small, soft white cloth from the same bag and began mixing the oils. At the very least, the scent was soothing.

Since she insisted, he scooted over to the sofa with a soft chuckle before sitting down and leaning back with a low sigh as he turned his head sideways to look at her in the kitchen. A deep breath allowing him to take in the scent of the oils she was mixing.

"So do tell... how's "jail" been treating you hm? Got your text about the apartment so I've stayed out" although in all honesty he was probably only a night or two away from checking it out himself. "Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to see you out and about again" the youth added with a grin.

"It's been quiet. Gives me some time for reflection. In all honesty, it could be worse, so I'm not complaining."

She poured the concoction in an empty bottle, leaving the rest of her accouterments on the counter and made her way over to Charlie. She sat on the edge of the couch and poured a few drops into the cheesecloth like material in her hand.

"Tell me where it hurts," she said watching him, as she put the bottle on the table next to her.

"Yeah, my place is off limits for a few more nights at the very least. But all should be well, soon. And yes, it's nice to be out and about. Never could sit still for long," she smiled, lifting the sweet smelling cloth up, ready to apply the oil where needed.

He straightened up and unzipped the hoodie before slowly pulling it off his shoulders to reveal the black tank top underneath. What was noticeable was the bandages visible at his shoulders, disappearing in under the fabric of the tank top, as well as additional bandages on his arms. Seemed he really had been out playing with sharp objects.

He winches slightly as he dropped the hoodie and smiled up at her.
"Sorry about the unmanly groaning here" he, quite fittingly, groaned as he leaned back again and moved a hand to unfasten one of the bandages around his upper right arm. The same arm having a second bandage around the lower part as well. "I'm not going to pretend to be all macho and say it doesn't sting, because it does. Like a bitch" the youth chuckled despite his current state.

Cass shook her head.

"Jesus, Charlie..." Quickly, she set the cloth in her lap and helped him so he didn't have to bend so much. She ran her fingers over the flesh that was ripped and sliced.

"Hold still," she took the cloth and began tracing light circles around the wounds, careful not to get oil in them.

"Might not take the pain away from dead flesh, but it's worth a try. At the very least, the scent should be soothing enough to take you're mind off of it for a while."

She gave him a smile as she worked, fingers giving light and soothing touches up and down his right arm.

"I knew you slept with your knives, but maybe you should consider not doing that anymore," she gave him a wink, knowing it wasn't his knives that did this. "This doesn't look like it was just a minor scuffle."

None of the cuts were too deep, but they still looked painful enough. The fact that he hadn't just healed them up suggested that perhaps they hadn't been dealt by a normal blade either.

He grinned though at her comment as he leaned his head back against the back of the cough and let out a low sigh as he let her do her thing. Enjoying the gentle touch and the soothing scent if his expression was anything to go by at least.
"Hey, not everyone's the talking type" the youth smiled at her with a soft chuckle. Only his arms were bare, the rest of his cuts, and it was fair to assume there were plenty more, hidden by his clothing. Funny thing though, it hadn't really been a scuffle at all. It had been a massacre as far as power levels went.
"Could've been worse. Could've lost a limb but hey, I still got both arms and all ten fingers don't I?"

She frowned. "That's beside the point." She kept working until the cloth was dry and then reapplied the oils.

"You very well could be missing a limb or those precious fingers of yours. This doesn't look like it was very much fun. Please tell me you got something out of it, at the very least."

She put a bit of the oil on the bandages before starting to wrap them again, gently but firmly.

"Do you heal normally?" There was no hesitation in her question. Her tone indicated that depending on his answer, she had a bit of advice.

"I got to live?" he smirked, moving his free hand to rest his fingers against his forehead. Really, that was a big bonus all things taken into consideration. Because if the Gangrel had wanted it otherwise... well, hadn't been much he could've done really.
"Some things are a bit rougher to heal than others" Charlie said with a soft smile in reply to her second question, watching as she rewrapped the bandages. "But yeah, I heal normally"
He eased a gentle hand under her chin just as she finished with the bandages and lifted it just enough to meet her eyes. "I told you, I'll be fit for fight in no time. Even for a strapless dress"

She gave him a bit of a mischievous smile and nodded, moving to his other arm and doing the same thing just as gently.

"You know I sent that as a joke, right?" She chuckled. "But I wouldn't dare stop you if you insisted on wearing it to a casino.

"Curious, though... Same person as before or did you have a run in with something else?"

"He's got a bit of a temper" the youth chuckled even as he suppressed a slight wince when the bandages were removed. "Then again it might just be that I'm pushing all the wrong buttons" Charlie shrugged as if it really was nothing. "I think he went easy on me really"
Correction, he knew he'd gone easy on him. Anything less than easy would've resulted in actual damage and not just superficial cuts.
"Although I was kind of upset at the moment it happened" the youth actually laughed.

"Ah... Gotcha," she said with a nod and a knowing look as she placed a few more drops of the sweet scented oil on the bandages.

"Guess you'll have to find all of the right buttons to push, hm?" She gave another grin that quickly turned into a bright, dazzling smile.

"Still, I wouldn't want to see you with your temper flared. Or him for that matter. Remind me never to be in the same room with the both of you. The temptation to get myself into trouble would be overwhelming," she laughed as she began to re-wrap his arm.

"And I would be in worse shape that you right now," she said, absently flexing the hand she'd bitten which was still sporting a flesh color bandage.

"Oh trust me, I wasn't pushing the buttons you think I was. If I'd done that I'd be six feet under by now. He made that very clear the first time I spoke to him" he smiled, watching her as she rewrapped his arm again. Her touch was a welcomed change from the feeling of claws....

"Thank you..." he said softly, moving his manicured hand to her cheek with a light touch, brushing his thumb across her skin. "You're most kind to do this for me.." the youth smiled, allowing his hand to trace her jaw to her chin again. "Sure you won't be getting in trouble for sneaking out hm?"

"So what if I do?" She shrugged. "I'm not worried about it. Besides, everyone needs a little pampering every now and again. It's worth it, whether I get in trouble or not."

She clearly was telling the truth, she didn't seem at all concerned. She placed her hand on his on her chin and brought it down to her chest level, taking the bottle and placing a few drops of the oil on his wrist.

Gently, firmly, she began rubbing it in-- first his wrist and then his hand before working her way up his forearm just a bit. She repeated this with his other arm.

Cass put his hands on his torso and leaned over him to put a soft kiss on his lips before she stood, taking her 'equipment' back into the kitchen and cleaning up the slight bit of mess that she made.

"You'll at the very least rest a little better," she said over the sound of running water. She sauntered back into the living room with a cold, damp towel folded in half long-wise and placed it gently on his forehead.

The youth watched her in silence as she took care of his hands, the soft smile continuing to linger on his pale lips even after she'd finished and walked to the kitchen. Steel blue eyes following her movements the entire time, once again finding and holding her gaze as she returned.

"I think I will sleep well after this" Charlie smiled at her, leaning back so to lay on his back on the sofa as she placed the towel on his forehead. Really, she was pampering him, and he was enjoying every moment of it.
He closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled with a low sigh before looking up at her again.
"Yours is a much nicer touch.." the androgynous youth said as he lifted her hand to his lips for a kiss. "And it's good to see you again. Thought maybe Frederico would've stolen you away by now"

She gave an impish grin. "Frankly, I think he's forgotten about me. Maybe that's a good thing. I'd rather not hold my clan's attention for too long, anyway." She winked. "And it's good to be seen," she said, touching his cheek with the back of her hand.

"Anything you need while I'm here? Carpets to clean, walls to repair?" It was said in all seriousness, really.

"No..." he moved his hands to her hips to pull her closer instead with a smile. "The walls are intact, I've already burned what was left of my clothes and the carpets are quite clean. Blood's a bitch to get out.." Charlie chuckled, still smiling up at her. "Your company's is all I need right now"

Cass laughed lightly and melodically as she adjusted to cool cloth on Charlie's head.

"Alright, I'm not going anywhere for a while," she said as she pressed to fingers to her own lips and then to his. Her eyes drifted to the tv and she shook her head.

Picking up the the remote, she turned the television off. "I don't think that was helping your healing process," she said as she playfully stuck her tongue out at him.

"I was bored" he smirked, blowing her a kiss before closing his eyes with a soft sigh. "Much better now though" the youth chuckled, gently pulling at her hips again as if to pull her down onto the couch with him.
"But tell me, how have you been and what's really going on with your apartme? Ghosts gone rampant?"
