He slowly opened the door, just enough so he could look in, and see who as there.

Inside were two people. He couldn't tell their gender. They were talking at the other end of the room, looking out the window.

He took a long quiet smell, trying to figure out if the smell was coming from either of them.. or maybe just in the room.

He couldn't quite tell which of them the smell was coming from. But he could tell it wasn't the room.

he slowly opened the door, oh so slowly so that someone watching might think it as just the wind. The idea was not to attract attention. And he needed to get in without drawing attention. Not easy to do.

And he needed to get in and find the person. Also he wanted to know what they were talking about.

He tried to not be noticed. He really did. And then the hinges made a horrendous screech and both parties looked in his direction, the talk stopping instantly.

Damn it. He took a step back tried to disappear. And when one of them came to the door he would do his best to get a whiff of them. Maybe he would find the one he was hunting. If not.. well he could always kill them easily.

They went back to ignoring him, picking back up their conversation as they came back to close the door that the wind had obviously opened. It was closed completely, and the voices were cut off.

Whoever came close to the door to close it, 13 sniffed to see if that was the man.

It was most definitely the man, as he also smelled Merry on him.

That was good enough.

He stepped up and smashed the door with a kick checking out who was in the room and going to grab the girl...at celerity. And he was fucking mad. Not to mention fully himself and not some little 13 year old boy.

He had the element of surprise, and caught them flat footed.

He managed to down the first on in one hit, and then had the other beneath him on the floor. He towered over the guy, standing on his stomach. All this before they could get a hit in.

He sniffed at the second one, with the blood. Looked at him. He had to know.. were they both vampires? Why had they attacked the girl?

"Who are you and why did you try and kill the girl?"

The only response was a growl, and the spitting of fluid at him. It was saliva, not blood.

Oh, this was not smart. HE sniffed again to make sure he had the right scent and then he stepped down a little harder

It was the right scent, this was the right man. He just didn't seem to be a vampire, as bones cracked.

He watched the other man for a second to make sure he wasn't in for any surprises and then looked back to the slightly crushed man below him.

"Talk now. Why did you drain the girl of blood?"
