orlando time!

Johnathon waited for his security consultant to meet him outside the Regency. He'd headed there shortly after sunset. It was going to be a long and busy night.

She came walking down the street, and waved to him.

"Hey."

He smiled and opened the passenger door. "Hey Colorburst. Get in. "

She slipped in, buckling up.

"You going my way?"

"Orlando all the way through lady. " he said while pulling out and heading for the freeway. He was wearing jeans, a leather jacket and heavy construction boots for an unusual change.

"Thanks for coming "

She nodded.

"I needed a break."

"I missed you " he said after a few minutes. "A lot. ".

She smiled.

"I'm sorry. Been so very busy. Missed you, too."

He couldn't resist it. Johnathon pulled into a nearby parking lot and took the little nos into his arms and kissed her passionetly. "There. " he whispered "now we can go"

She laughed.

"You are so very silly."

"Yup. I am " he said getting back onto the road. "So how is teddy's friend doing ?"

"Teddy's friend is fine. The other bastard...not so much."

"Aww. Poor bastard. Hope he got was coming to him. "

She gave an evil grin. And in that grin, he could see the change in her.

"Oh yes, he did."

"Umm... Dearest one. What happened to you? You suffered a loss in what makes you humane didn't you?"

She shrugged.

"Might have. Fucker deserved it, though."

He nodded chewing his lip for a moment. "Try not to get any less humane please?" then he brightened up "Now I can watch you go to sleep and tuck you in"

She blinked.

"Dude. I so totally don't care. And you try anything while I'm dead, and I hurt you."

He blinked. "Umm... why would I? "

She smiled.

"Just being clear."

He actually looked hurt. Maybe even a bit heartbroken. "Raz0r... I'm sorry. I guess it will take some getting used to all around. The question is then, do you still love me?"

She nodded.

"Of course I do. Silly question."

He smiled "Sorry. Let's change the subject. You heard anything about that thing that was fucking with Cass? I keep worrying whatever it was will have followed me after I pulled her from the swamp"

She turned to him.

"It was you that pulled her out of there?"

"Eh? Yeah. I was looking for an alligator to ghoul when I found her. Me having a weakness for people found lost and confused in swamps, I took her back to the Regency where she could be looked after."
