Needing a Friend (open) - The Den

Within 20 minutes of the text sent, there came a soft knock at the door.

Greer opened the door, "Hey you." with a hug and a smile. "Come on in."

Cass returned the hug a bit tighter. "Hope I'm not intruding. Eh... I'll feel that way anyway," she gave a half smile as she walked in.

"No not at all. Please come in and sit. If you want I think there's beer in the fridge." with a grin at her.

"As much as I would love to get shit faced," she smiled softly but shook her head. "I can't and it's not a good idea."

The Toreador plopped-- yes, plopped-- down onto the couch, leaning forward with her elbows on her knees.

"I just... needed to get away for a while."

Greer sat beside her, hugging her "What's going on?" with a smile at her.

"Voices," She shook her head. "I just want a little normalcy, is all."

"Would you like me to sing for you?" with a gently petting of her hair.

She nodded to her. "I would really like that, please," said softly in a near whisper.

'Piano, guitar or just my voice." with a curious look at her.

Ooh... double the entrancement... "Piano and voice?"

"As you wish, a preference in theme?" as she pulls up the sleeves to her large pastel lavender sweater, heading to the piano (that looks like her's from her apartment) and looks back at her as she sits down.

"None at all. I would just like to enjoy you," with a nod.

Greer nodded and started to play . With an effortless playing and singing.

Quickly, Cassiel fell to her clan's curse. She sat, swaying to the music, listening intently with her eyes half closed.

Following up with another show tune. It seem to be something she could do off the top of her head.

Cass sat back, listening and still swaying. She would drool if she could, but... That wouldn't be ladylike at all would it?

She seemed perfectly content.

Greer continued to play the piano, humming softly with her piano playing and then making sure that Cassiel didn't need to think.

No thinking was a glorious thing. Soon, Cass was actually lying on the couch, staring at Greer dreamily.

Greer calmly played down to a performance 4, looking over at Cass "Better?"

She nodded slowly in her half-dreamy state, curling up comfortably. "You're like an angel, Greer..."

"You are a true ego boost." with a grin at her. "Have I helped?"

"Look at my face, does it look like I'm lying?" She asked with a goofy grin, still, it seemed, riding high on Greer's beauty and passion.

"Your look blissful and at peace." moving over to hug her again. "I am sorry Cassiel."

She shook her head, then leaned it against Greer's shoulder. "Don't be, sugar. It's not your fault. Shit happens, I suppose. This type of thing... you just don't expect it to happen to you. And you've seen it, felt it too."
