She wasn't quite sure what to say and inevitably ended up muttering something incoherent into her beer, cursing her horrid control of her of blood.

She just ignored the banter. It was probably for the best.

Confused Medwyn was confused! Jamie would respect you in the morning. That's just how he was! ... And thanks to the Catholic that is Jamie, his brain didn't even once go to the sexual aspects of his own commentary. He just didn't see Jamie that way.

Yeah well, Teddy's head was in the gutter. Sorry! Medwyn's fault whether or not he was aware of it so she just uhm, silently drowned out her own thoughts with the beer and changed subjects completely.
"This is good" yes beer was good, lalalala.

He couldn't help but laugh.

"Say what you will about the Setites; they make damn good beer."

She smirked.

"Aye, they do."

He looked thoughtful. "Have you spent any time around them at all, Grace?"

She shook her head.

"Nay, lad. I dinna blame 'em for things others did, but I ha' no reason t' go there."

He nodded.

"Just wondering what they might be about, is all."

Setites? No effing clue what so ever really. They made good beer. And that was about the extent of her knowledge on the matter.
So she just sipped at her beer again quietly.

She nodded.

"I dinna ken wha' they be up t'."

He sighed.

"That does worry me just a little."

Teddy leaned gently against his shoulder, looking up at him for a moment before looking to Grace. Really, she didn't have much input to this conversation because she knew nothing about the Setites and was still relatively new to the town.

She smiled.

"Then why dinna ye check it out for me?"

He grinned.

"Because you are older and wiser, and will pick up anything that I might miss."

Point, counter-point.

She smiled.

"Ah, but ye are closer t' this time, an' will ken th' context o' things I will nay."

"And if my youth causes me to miss something vitally important?"

"Now you're both being silly" the blond, who'd been quiet for a little while, said. "Two people will never see a situation identically. Grace has her strengths, you have yours. Different perspectives gives different insight. If anything, both of you should check it out, by yourself and then come together and compare what you find or may not have found out"

She laughed.

"Medwyn, ye picked a right one."

She turned to Teddy.

"Ye ha' a point lass. But I also be t' busy. I'll head in an' check 't out when I ha' a chance."

She nodded once with a smile at her.
"Sounds like a plan" she said before leaning against Medwyn's shoulder again.

He sighed.

"I guess I'll go snake-hunting, then."

"You don't need to go snake hunting" Teddy leaned her head sideways, resting it on his shoulder. "We can go together. Check it out. Don't need to come across as anything other than casual"

She chuckled.

"Tis a bar, laddie. Take ye're woman for a drink."

He rolled his eyes.

"No harm ever came from having a drink, right?"
