He held her close and smiled, nuzzling.

She nuzzled close, so that she could lie next to him. She wrapped her arms around him as she closed her eyes, then kissed him gently.

"Rest well, my love. And thank you."

He sighed.

"Rest well. And thank you."

With that, she snuggled into his shoulder, letting the day take her.
