"Says the man sitting down, not in the 5" heels." with a chuckle and another work the bar, trying to get the time to pass.

"I'd look terrible in heels" he said dryly

"You never know they do wonders for your rear." with a turn around to show him.

"It is a nice backside" he conceded

Because it was nearing last call, she appeared once again at the elevator doors. And started toward the bar, not interrupting Rachel's conversation with Victor. She was simply getting prepared for the end-of-the-night rush.

Victor ordered another shot and smiled at the sheriff when she came back out.

Rachel grinned at him, "Why thank you, and just think what 5" heels could do to yours." with an obviously teasing jest; she was just trying to get him to laugh and it wasn't meant to be mean in anyway. While she poured him his shot.

She poured a shot from the bottle of Kindred-friendly alcohol and sat the drink on the bar in front of Victor. She even gave him a smile and as Rachel spoke -- she decided right then and there that she wasn't even going to ask. Nope. Just prep bar for rush.

She hugged Griselda, kissed her cheek, and said sweetly "Mr. Steele has been saving me from a night of total boredom."

"That's me. Saviour of damsels in distress"

She chuckled.

"Has he? I'm more concerned about the implications of that. Don't break Mister Steele, Rachel. He's one of my best customers."

She winked and gave Rachel a hug and kiss, then went right back to working.

Victor snorted. "We are going to give the highway patrol something to do in a few minutes"

She just looked at Rachel.

"I'm not bailing you out of jail," she warned.

"You aren't?" with a hurt look at her "Why not? You'd bail Salif out of Jail."

"Heaven knows I can't afford bail or talk my way out of a speeding ticket... " he smirked

She grinned.

"Because Salif wouldn't go joyriding with Mister Steele," she winked at Rachel. "Oh, okay. I'll bail you out of jail. But I'm probably going to kick your ass when I get you home."

"Ohh promise!!!" with a mischievous smirk at Rachel and a wink at her.

"It's too nice a ass to kick, at least in those heels "

"Why thank you Mr. Steele." with a wink at him and then looking back at Griselda to see if she'll still say yes.

She tilted her head to look at Rachel's backside.

"It is definitely a nice ass. But yes, I'll kick it if you get into trouble." She looked up at Rachel and smiled.

"Go on. Have fun. I'll handle the closing rush."

"Ali OK?"

She hugged Griselda, "Thank you!" with another kiss on the cheek, grabbing her coat, looking at Victor, "Let's go!" sending a quick text and then going to head to Victor's side.

She gave Victor a smile.

"She's fine. Might be coming down with a touch of the flu or something. Not feeling very well."

Aka: She wasn't giving that one up.

She kissed Rachel's cheek and tilted her head.

"Don't stay out too late. But have fun."

Victor nodded. "I'll bring her back more or less intact. "

Rachel took Victor's arm, "I promise not to break him, Griselda." with a wink at her boss, then looking up at Victor, "Please good sir lead the way."
