Halloween - The Den

Greer slid on the gold dress, then put her hair up, debated on jewelry, then hoped it wasn't a too obscure and idea or to subtle how she choose to dress to represent the costume idea.  She felt very odd not having any lavender or purple on that others could see.  Sliding on the heels, she grew instantly 3 inches, but most would never notice.

Looking at the time though, they should probably skip dinner and just go to the party.  "Jim are you ready?" as she stepped out of hte bedroom into the main room.

He was nowhere to be seen. At first. Then something was draped around her neck and his fingers were warm against her. At least he wore a suit. "Just about. Ya look beautiful."

She looked down, turning towards him "Oh Jim it's beautiful." on her tip toes went to kiss him.

He gave her a kiss with a smile. "An' it looks just darlin' on ya." He held out his arm for her. "Shall we get goin'?"

Hugging him first, then taking his arm, and "Yes we should." with a chuckle.

He grinned and led her to the car. "I was thinkin' of French for dinner. How's that work for ya?"

"Do you like French food?" with a smile at him.

He laughed. "I like all food."

"Good point, I do owe you a night of gator don't I?" with a alluring smile as she looked up at him. Her white strand hidden in her up do, and her hand again touched the necklace. "Really Jim you do spoil me."

He grinned and opened the door of the Jeep for her. Before she could move, he turned to lift her into the air and into the passenger side of the car. He leaned close for a kiss. "I try."

She kissed him back deeply "You succeed." with a huge grin at him.

He grinned. "Ya wanna head out for dinner first, or party first? We can get food later if ya want."

"We should go to the party, then dinner, and" leaning over to kiss him again "thank you."

He kissed her gently. "Aight, party first. An' what are ya thankin' me for?"

"taking me." with a shy smile at him.

He laughed. "Takin' ya to a party ain't that big a deal, darlin'."

"Yes to me it is, cause I don't do well with large gatherings of us and" kissing him "I don't want to get started and have to stop because you have to make an appearance." with a twinkle in her green eyes and a sexy smile at him.

He squeezed her hand. "If ya get upset an' wanna go, just tell me, aight?"

"I will hopefully no mirror mazes this time." with a shy smile at him.

He laughed. "Well, if there's a mirror maze, I'll hold ya hand ta walk through it."

"I am not sure I can yet." with a honest tone and smile at him.

He smiled and started to drive. "Then I'll hold ya hand an' bring ya home."

"Sounds good and I'll hold you to it." taking his hand as he drove.

He held her hand and smiled. "I expect ya to."

"I will." with a smile at him.
