I'm Brooding (open)

He looked annoyed. He slid up to the bar and ordered a whiskey neat. With his back to the girls that danced because he just didn't care. And proceeded to stare at his glass. Brooding.

Estaban was walking as he often did, enjoying the feel of the city. On the other hand he could see McKay wasnt enjoying anything. He followed the man into the bar and slid up next to him ordering a whiskey for himself.

He didn't need to say anything... just be there for a minute.

Oh. Wrong person. Wrong damn person. He growled a little.

Estaban took a drink and then spoke softly.

"Drink and stop growling like an ape."

He glanced at the Toreador. "Don't push your fucking luck."

He didnt glance back, not yet.

"I'm sitting here drinking with you while you are obviously pissed. I am already pushing what luck I have."

He took another drink and then looked over.

"Growling at me like that...girl problems."

"So glad to know that all my issues are broadcast by the fact that I'm sittin' here drinkin'."

He smiled.

"You growl at me because of one of two women. So we can drink in silence, you can beat the living daylights out of me or you can tell me which one pissed you off."

"Your redhead made my redhead nuts. More nuts. So it's both of 'em."

He winced.

"Yeah.. I am going to pay for that. So, just what did my red head do? She hasnt seemed unusual lately so she probably doesnt even know what she did."

"I don't even know. Said something about helpin' Greer because of me or some shit and sent Greer off the deep end."

oh...that was enough to send off the alarms.

"Female logic problems. You have my sympathy and I'm buying the next round. Been there, been burned by it."

"I gotta tell ya, I ain't a fan of this woman logic shit."

He chuckled.

"Whoever called it that should get kicked in the genitals. Repeatedly. False advertising and really the bane of thinking individuals. All I can say... if they get this crazy without the monthly change..I cannot imagine how bad it could have been."

He turned to stare at him. "Uh-huh."

He laughed at the man.

"Drink up.. it isnt getting any better."

He thought about it as he took a drink.

"Probably has to do with the fact that my redhead hates your redheads family."

He didn't even look at the Toreador. "More like it's probably something to do with your redhead being a lying bitch."

He drank his whiskey and just shook his head.

"Women are crazy enough by themselves. Do you really think she lied just to make her and you miserable? Really?"

"I didn't speculate on her motive. I just called her a lying bitch. Which is what I know to be true."

He sighed.

"That is a healthy way to handle your pain. Blame it all on someone who has little to nothing to do with this. Whatever happened between her and you...if it was all my girls fault, you would be on her doorstep calling her that to her face. You are here because things went helter skelter. Am I wrong?"

He shook his head. "No. I'm here 'cause my woman seems to think that I've done something untoward with yours. Yours is still a lying bitch."

He looked at the man.

"Is that what your woman said? That you cheated?"

He shook his head. "There's ways ta be untoward without cheatin', man."

He looked at the man and shook his head.

"Well, then your woman doesnt know you too well."

"Or maybe she knows your woman too well."
