Lord of the Rings (Grant) - Johnathon's Haven

She opened the door, duffel bag in hand.

"My pet?  Are you in?"

The Ventrue was coming down stairs buttoning up his shirt and smiled. "Hey Raz0r. Yes, I'm home. What can I do for you?"

She smiled as she lifted the duffel.

"Show me the TV. Please tell me you have one."

"In the den." he smiled while coming up to give her a hug and kiss on her forehead. "I've been slowly redecorating. Wanted to ask you. These audio cables..." he said while heading for the den "Vary wildly in price, and it sounds as if much of it is snake oil. I bought middle of the rode priced cables instead of the thousand dollar ones."

The den looked like something straight out of time, with the exception of a modern hi def flat screen TV and speakers discreetly placed about the room. A red velvet curtain currently covered the unit to preserve the look of the room.

She accepted his hug and kiss, then followed to the Den. Where she chuckled.

"You did good. You have a blu-ray or DvD player?"

"Both" he smiled while drawing back the curtain. "I have been watching a great number of motion pictures. I finished several Mel Brooks films last night. Blazing Saddles was most amusing."

She shook her head.

"Men in Tights is better. But let me see what you have."

"Ah yes. That too was most ahh... Epic? Yes. Epic."

Clearly the Ventrue had purchased a comprehensive home theater. Easily a ten thousand dollar system if not more.

She smiled.

"Good. Have you watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy?"

"No, is it about boxing?" he said while shaking his head.

She laughs and kisses him.

"No, my pet. Better."

And from her duffel, where he could see a PS3, she pulled out the boxed set on Blu-ray.

"Ah excellent. I look forward to it then."

She grinned.

"Popcorn?"

he shook his head sadly "Can't eat it sorry."

She sighed.

"Then I guess I can't. Make us a nest while I get this set up?"

"I have a... micro wave in the kitchen if you want. Ooh! And an electric ice box."

He grinned as an idea struck him and he started moving furniture and gathering pillows and cushions until a proper nest was in fact formed on the floor.

She smiled as she pulled the cellophane off the box and fiddling with his system. When she had everything right and had turned around with the remote in hand, she grinned.

"Perfect!"

"Well" he grinned "You gonna get your butt in here, or do I have to drag you?"

She smirked at him. And stayed put.

He shook his head in mock annoyance. "Whatever am I to do with you?" he said getting out of the little nest.

She grinned.

"That's entirely up to you."

She backed up around the nest, keeping it between them.

He cocked his head sideways as if in thought for a moment and slowly advanced. "Really now Colorburst" he sighed. And pounced. Fast.

She squeaked as she was pounced, falling to the ground under him. Giggling.

He laughed and kissed her "Squeaky Raz0r! I caught a squeaky Nos! Yay!"

She wrapped arms and legs around him, holding him to her.

"MINE!"
